Next Executive Director of Faith Foundation Northwest Announced
“I believe that the Search Committee’s’ championing of a spirit of faithfulness and sense of duty to the mission of the foundation was instrumental in the overall search process.” Says Dr. LaVerne Lewis, who chaired the Search Committee. “With four months of meetings, a broad pool of applications and numerous interviews, the selection was made. The qualities that set Julia Frisbie apart were her skills, the commitment she’s already shown to the Foundation, and our confidence in her ability to do the job.”
Frisbie brings a wealth of experience in management, communications, and fundraising within the United Methodist Church. A Stanford graduate, she began her career at UMCOR. She led our episcopal area’s $1.2-million-dollar Imagine No Malaria campaign, and played a significant role at General Conference 2016. Frisbie has served as an Associate Director of the Foundation for the past five years, and looks forward to building on the relationships she already has with faith communities and their leaders throughout the Northwest.
“The Board’s decision is the right one!” says current executive Tom Wilson. “Julia has the talent and confidence to guide the Foundation’s future in the best directions. She also has the benefit of an excellent board and very competent staff.” Wilson and Frisbie are already working together to ensure a seamless transition.
The Foundation’s partners in ministry can look forward to connecting with Frisbie at all three of our area’s upcoming Annual Conferences.
